I finally got one at a reasonable price and will be delivered tomorrow by 1pm, took me ages and I had to go £60 more than I wanted to pay, but was still about £70 less than others I bid on, and about £180 cheaper than in the Vodafone shop.
Happy Days

Aye its a new phone from Vodafone, running the new LiMo OS. The App selection is going to be non existent really, also Apple have the touch screen interface nailed, very few handsets come close. Sadly the H1 with LiMo is bit flaky, and not great to use. I can think of much better phones personally, but good luck with it :y

I never asked for your opinions,. or did I ask for you to try and make it look as if I had purchased a box of bombs, but I got them anyways.
It is what my son wanted and he always gets what he wants.

If you weren't wanting opinions, then why make the original post?
Don't mistake the above for the way it reads (thats the limitations of text based communication), but if you make a post as you did above then don't be surprised when others have something to say.....and don't be surprised if some of those views aren't the same as yours (that's the law of averages).

I have a mate who has the new Apple and an LG 900 or 990 whatever it is.
Allways has the LG on him, never uses the Apple.

I posted to let peeps know that I have found one and it is on it's way, as I also posted a few weeks ago that I was looking one.
The way I read the posting fro Tunnie was making it look as I had bought a pile of crap and the phone is rubbish. It may well be rubbish, but it is what my son wanted. I did not ask for it to be compared with the very superior iPhone. I know the iPhone is better, but I could not afford such a phone.

Depends what your used to, iPhone users are mainly ex-smart phone users. Ones that had PDA's or the old beasty Symbian S60, if your used to 'phone-phones' prob would prefer the LG.
I have a HTC Magic running Android, but going to get the next gen iPhone i think, Android is being ignored sadly in apps, iPhone has much more, easily crackable too now.
Had Windows Mobile before, that was great to use, but a bit crash happy, and really struggled on the touch interface. You need a stylus (something Google & apple avoided like the plague to separate themselves from Microsoft)

Since when did i stat it was 'pile of crap'? Someone was asking what H1 was, so i said, what it was and what i was running, and my opinion.
Take the other view, we all like Omegas, but, post on a Saxo forum saying you love Omegas, will everyone gather around saying, Yes! We love them too, or would you expect most of the comments to be 'no, they are sh!t, they are old man cars, they are rubbish'. If everyone had the same opinions, this world would be a very dull place, and a forum would be dead!
Everyone has an opinion, and the ability to express it. If you can not take opinions different to your own without getting upset, don't post.
As KW mentioned, text based communication can be taken in loads of ways.
If i type 'Hello'
Would that be offensive? I could have said it simply, 'hello' or i could be in the pub saying 'helllllooooo' to some nice bit of lady that walked past. Second one could be classed as offensive, yet its the same word?

There is a very good chance that most folk forgot about the original post within 24 hours of it being made.
I know the iPhone is better, but I could not afford such a phone.
The original iPhone that the H1 is modelled on is the same price, it's the 3GS iPhone that is slightly dearer.

Normal 3G's are quite a bit cheaper too, with the upgraded firmware just as good as the 3GS in terms of operation.

With you on this one. :-/

But, would I have gotten such phone for the same money, brand new sealed in a box.
I could have gotten a USED one a lot cheaper, but someone had been sneezing H1N1 all over it
Yukk
No Thanks

Nothing wrong with used phones, plastic surfaces easily clean well. We buy used houses, cars, why not something that can be cleaned with a wet wipe?

You can still buy an original iPhone brand new in the box, even as old as it is in terms of production model.

Even if your "secondhand" phone was buried in the basic flu virus (H1N1), the bacteria would have died while the phone was in the post.
If I was going to worry about anything making me ill, I'd worry about the shit that is emitted from the 30 million cars we have on the road before I worried about a virus that's nothing more than a strong cold.

Not sure on what, buying second hand phones or cleaning it with a disposable cloth pack that costs a couple of quid, cleans and kills almost all bacteria?

Keyboards, monitors, screens, all get that treatment here every so often.
