Ive already been slated for the badge on another forum i use, and yes, i guess it could be deemed abit chav-ish, and i normally de-badge my cars but wanted to do something different this time, and im not lying am i? ;)
and the exhaust, its just a bolt on trim, I wanted to change the look of the back end without having to @rse about having a back-box crafted for it, due to A: the expense, and B: the fact that altering zausts on Deisels can ruin the power due to back-pressure levels...its not a boggo cheapo tail trim though, its stainless steel, and im well impressed with the fit, sits perfectly.
So, i'll sit back and wait for the kicking on here ;)

I did see your thread on the 'other' place, but lets ignor that.
I acually like the badge!! Really makes it stand out, and not chavvy IMO. Looks good [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
I thought that zorst was stainless, if its just a bolt on it looks brilliant!! - I want one!!!
Where did you get the exhaust trim, and how much??
-
Think it sets the back of just nicely, Admin give this man 8 browny points.

Cheers :)...the tailpipes were bought off ebay, and cost, IIRC, about £27 including delivery...the member was '2xcite' , but i dont think they have any on there at the mo.
If you get one though, you have to lob about 5inch off your standard tail, and it just clamps on, fits real snug in the 'cut'out'

If the badge is honest its ok :)
The tail pipe trim looks really neat [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Agree with the tailpipe, looks cool, not sure about the badge though!

8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Is that a Calibra I see reflected in the boot?
-
Exhaust looks nice, badge says DIESEL

You would't need to read the badge, i think the noise might give it away... ;)
-
I know what you mean - coolest sounding Diesels include
EE 16CSVT
and
Napier D18-25
-
Looks smart mate :)
-
How much was the VX Turbo badge? I'm actually fitting a turbo lump and quite fancy one :)
-
Love the exhaust mate - but dont like the badge ( sorry :( )
Being Devils Advocate - What will your insurance co say....?
-
Mark - Your doing well if you can see the Calibra reflection ;), although you can just make out its aerial reflected infront of the reflection of my Garage facia ;)
Martin - Are you illiterate ;) ;D
Davey - Its not actually a Vauxhall badge, its made by Trillogy, and i got it from Halfords - £6.99.
Markiec - Not sure, probably nowt.
-
tailpipes look good, not sure on the badge though tbh..
-
To be honest mate I think both the badge and tailpipe look rather smart kinda gives it its own individuality :)
Atleast its subtle as there was an omega running around in my parts that had the same badge on the door pillars near the back, although that had a shed load of add ons.

No we're having a little joke about the Turbo badge as you have the TD - and all us Omega owners would guess at TD, then Tunnie mentioned the sound, and I replied with a couple of good sounding big Diesels!
I still like the exhaust!
-
I did realise you were pulling my leg ;) ...doesnt sound too bad from outside the car when driving carefully...couple of people have mentioned you cant tell its a deisel when its coming towards you, its quite noisy in the cab though.
The 2.5TD is quite nice sounding when being worked...the old 6 cylinder lush-ness ;)
