Some how i managed to lose my CV in Microsoft Word. I've tried to save it in the past to a CD, but not being PC literate i do struggle & i don't know how to.
So i now have to type the whole bloody thing out again >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
I'm gona kill this laptop to death if it doesn't do as i say from now on.
Could someone please tell me how to save it to CD once i've typed it out :-?
I see that it says "save", but that just means to the hard drive doesn't it? Though when clicked it does nothing :-/

Don't save it to CD. Save it to hard disc and COPY it to CD from there.

yep, save it to my documents and give it a name, something catchy like, oh, i don't know, maybe, my cv or something, then you can copy it to disk or mail it to folk, it'll always be in you lapdancer i mean top then.

Maybe there are greater forces at work busy erasing your past? :y

if you have worked enough long, word must have taken a temporary copy with a filename starting with ~somenumber.tmp in a temporary folder (not sure which is but you can find..
and for later there must be an autosave feature to be turned on within the menus..arrange the shortest time period between autosaves..

...but whatever you do don't point the autosave at the CD!!!!

As per the first reply really.
You save it to the hard disk, then use the bullshit Windows burning engine if you don't have any decent recording software.
