Have MS now stopped Hotmail access through Outlook Express.
No matter what I have tried it says username/password access denied.
Both work ok if I go to the live site, and both work on Nessenger, Havent had it running for ages because had forgotton pasword, but all reset now.

Since Hotmail became WindozeLiveMail there isn't any support for it in Outlook.

They never stop do they.
I had a machine running for a while with my yahoo mail, hotmail and 2 x msn mail accounts all working in outlook express, then they did a re shuffle and the MSN mail accounts were dropped from OE.
I liked it when I could see them all at a glance.

Haven't got Outlook Distress on any machine here, but my Hotmail account works quite happily using Outlook.
I did initially get invalid user/pass when I first set it up, but that was down to my ISP blocking port 25 at their end. Once they opened that up for me, no problem at all.
I am assuming that you know you have to edit some of the "advanced properties" of the mail account once you create it? (enable SSL and change the incoming port to 995).

o2 only open for static IPs, but flicking it to tls (465tcp?) bypasses o2's block :)
same for several other isps as well.
