Title: Anyone travel Watford to Midlands regularly?
Post by: Welung666 on 30 January 2010, 16:23:36
After I had the bump in SWMBO's Fester Courier van I just bodged the bonnet back down, ripped the grill out and put plastic over the headlight. Now I'm looking at changing them as SWMBO is nagging. Found a guy on eGay who will do me a good deal on the bonnet, grill and headlight but it's down near Watford.

If I say yes to him and pay him by Paypal is there anyone who could pick them up and drag them this way a bit? I've never got time to travel more than an hour each way with being on call 24/7.

Fingers crossed ;) :y

P.S. The bonnet is the biggest part and measures 39" (1000mm) x 51" (1300mm) so it'possible to get into a saloon rear door ;)

Lee,
Watford is 52 miles from me according to google maps. I'll see if anyone I know is coming that way towards me, and as I'm going to be coming up to you we could get it all the way to you.

Or alternatively, is there anyone on here who goes from Watford area to near Oxford? I'm in Kidlington, 4 miles from Oxford city centre.

When you planning to do the deal?

Watfords local to me and could meet you halfway sometime. Can you make m1 jct 18 in an hour.

Parts condition would have to be at your risk though, dont fancy being responsible for that.

I was holding off to see if I could sort anything out with transport. These parts are for a 14 year old workhorse van so not expecting pristine in the first place but obviously they'll need a bit of care loading and unloading ;)

Didn't mean to sound like a back street courier, what I was meaning was concerning the bits being up to the quality described and expected.

Naturally I would take great care :y
