[smiley=engel017.gif]I expected the opto-ornithological Proverb:
"The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.!"
....but it`s evidently some kind of ball game result. ::)

I thought that trip was such a stupid thing to do.
Last bit was exciting though - tries from everywhere :y

I think the score was rather apt given the criticism of England recently .. :)
jeremiah 30.17
(ignore the last line .... )

I still prefer the 20-17 win from 2003 :y :y :y :y

Excuse me, the biblical references may be intellectually stimulating, but we are rather missing the point here.

Wales lost thru an act of stupidity and a passing error.
Take away the 17 pts scored during the player advantage period of A.W.J's 10 minute spell in the sinbin for his act of stupidity and the 7 pts for a converted try from an interception, which requires a combination of error on one side and luck on the other, and that leaves England with 6 pts from 2 penalty kicks.
Add to the Wales score the "if's" of the 12 pts lost through 4 missed penalty kicks and another 7pts from a converted try lost due to a last metre knock on, and the score "could" have been 36-6 to Wales.
But it's not the case...and that's that.
There will be celebration in the England camp tonight, but with statistics like the first 10 mins showing England having 74% possession but Wales having 67% of the territory there will be much annalysing and work being done by Johnno and Co. in readyness for the next round.
The score shows England won, but the game shows Wales threw it away.
(and quite literally with the intercepted pass :-[)

Is that a good thing J? I don't understand anything at all about sporting activity.
