Title: Snow joke ,it's heavier than you think !

A mate of mine sent me these from Dulles Airport ,Washington DC.
I guess the Structural Engineer didn't allow for snow..... ;D

Looks like some insurance company goona have a massive headache, and a sore wrist from writing out all them checks (pun)

Bloody hell :o :o :o :o That's some snow to do that.

A company i worked for when i was steel fabricating suppiled water storage tanks for sprinkler systems.
We would supply quite a few to Poland, every tank supplied had to have roof beams & columns in very heavy steel for the extra weight of the snow. What we supplied was way over the top, but they'll never buckle :y

I've walked through that hanger many times ..  some VERY expensive machinery used to be stored and pampered thre ... place was always spotless.

As said .. there'll be some very unhappy owners, an extremely concerned insurance company.... and an even more worried general manager  ... who'll be checking his policy with a very fine toothcomb !!

RAF office used to be in Signature Aviation ... which appears to have escaped unscathed .. :)

I've got some more photos , ther are actually four squashed jets !  :'(
