Just had a sound ear bashing off the wife and its justified. I have had a facelift diesel(well 2) car on the drive for months, its repaired and running just needs a bit of a clean and an MOT so the wife blasted me this morning to get it sorted and off the drive so I promised to spend tomorrow doing it. Two minutes later her sister phones and says theres a classic bike show down the road tomorrow do we want to go, what does the wife do, turns around and says yes ;D
I'll never understand them :)

No its the 2.2. The 2.5 is still in bits, looks like i'm going to have take the front cover off and change the timing chains and tensioners and i'm really not looking forward to that:(

For the past three months, following a slight disagreement about appropriate driving speed, my wife has refused to go in the car.
Why has she now booked us a holiday in Cornwall? On the first weekend of the school summer holidays as well. Perhaps she's planning a series of local bus trips using her free bus pass. If so, she's on her own. :( :( :(

It would not matter if you got the car fixed up ready for sale and went to the bike show you would still be in the wrong,

I think she realises that the whole road network will be gridlocked and you'll be lucky to better 30 MPH the whole way there. ;)
