havnt read his posts or replies for ages.
-
He left in a huff again I think :-X :-X
-
no longer a member, care factor = 0
-
As above... He's left again. It's sad to see any member leave but have to confess I'm not overly bothered ::) ::)
-
I 2nd that, always saw him as a confrontational character, he reminds me of someone i know, the world owes him something

Certainly appeared to have his opinion on everything and "knew" an awful lot ::) ::) :-? :-?
-
he wanted to intimidate everyone, i noticed it in his replies to members, maybe he's gone to try and bully someone else
-
Very clever lad, a bit abrubt, I actuaaly think it's a shame he left, Shame anyone leaves. Why dont they just leave thier account active with a name change in case they change thier minds.
Are you listening Guy. ::)
-
i pmsl at some of his posts, he does know alot, and also "knows" alot even when he doesnt.
i suppose any community will have its...fringe characters, it would be a dull world if we where all well balanced polite sensable friendly individuals...like me in fact. :)
-
i agree, but if you dish it out, you shouldn't be surprised if it get's served back up.
-
Having met him in real life, I am actually disappointed he's decided to leave us :'(

No not had a chance to speak to him yet. I might go for a drink with him at the end of the month to see what's up.

I quiet liked 20 watt being honest, hope he's ok :y

too right. Just sprinkle a little humour on that honesty and its possible to get a foot in the door of that proverbial "gentlemans club" Hotel 21 was talking about....and once in, then you can really go to town...sometimes...not sure he'll ever be the "fitting in" type though. Big Jessie... ;D

what was his siggy....i drive a big four wheel drive so get out of my way or something like it
-
No idea why he left.
Never had the pleasure of meeting him, so didn't really know him.
Seemed to have 2 personalities. One came across as confrontational, arrogant, annoying. The other killerwatt I a certain amount of respect for - knowledgable, fun.
Trouble is, on any day, it was unclear which one you'd get. And the former did take an inappropriate amount of my moderating time. But the latter was :y
-
And he had long sold his Omega. Maybe he just moved on :-/
-
I'd rather see him back, he's not everyone's cup of tea but he offered a forthright viewpoint on most things and could even have a laugh at times. It's good to have a bit of stirring up instead of being nicey nicey all the time, and he was the man to do it.
Knew a fair bit too, and you just knew he wasn't bullsh***ing.
-
As I said... It's sad to see him leave (and sad to see anyone leave) and would be nice to see the "friendly and helpful" KW back... Just the argumentative one that was a PITA IMO :y :y
-
I think the days people saw the KW they didn't like he hadn't taken his meds, he often refered to forgetting to take them. Certainly on the occasions I met him he was sound, civilised and genuinely interesting to chat to. He will be one of those people who will be able to write a very interesting account of his life when he gets older. Some of the stuff he has experienced .... :o :-X

I can also echo this having met him in the flesh as well.
He did tend to keep the swear filter busy at times but you could rely on him telling it like it is.

There's an understatement ;D ;D ;D
He certainly didn't seem all bad :y :y
-
Called a spade a
spade metal thing for digging the rather garden :y..........didnt mind him (most of the time ) myself.
-
Not bothered, someone leaves, someone else arrives....its life.....

This one's left me wide open & i've thought for a few days before replying. We got off on a bad footing, ruffled eachothers feathers & i guess i share some of his downfalls ie gobby, outspoken & prone to throwing the odd strop here & there. So yes i share some of his shortcomings. He's obviously a thoughtful, loyal man & by no means unintelligent.
Despite sharing some faults with the bloke there is one difference. Sometimes i kick off at something & in the cold light of the next day can see where i went wrong, apoogise & admit i slipped up. I've watched a few skirmishes with other members, managed not to get involved & noticed that despite the voice of reason the next day his views don't change one iota even when he's glaringly wrong he can't see it & can't see other folks opinions no matter how many times he's told. It's not deliberate but i honestly think he suffers from some form of Narcissism.
I wish him well.

I did'nt use the phrase "flouncing off" niether did i swear or say anything offensive by saying "throwing a strop" as in being stroppy. How can that offend anyone?
If the word stroppy offends anyone i suggest they dis connect thier internet, make a cup of tea, go to church then watch Antiques Roadshow from underneath a nice warm blanket....who did this & why?

No worries Paul now that i know but given the rows i've had with admins i thought it was them again & sat here wondering how on earth the word strop could offend anyone. ::)

No worries Paul, it's just a sore subject given part of the reason i left was admins playing with my words so as not to offend the too easily offended or to state thier opinions on certain cars, just as i'm grovelling my a**e off to get my well earned status back. I'm a tad shocked as i thought only admins could play with posts, did'nt realize anyone could do it. Still no harm done. :y

obviously he doesnt reflect a standard community member that we used to see..
may have lived bad things in the past, which left some traces..and I see some signs that he feels the necessity to fight or heavily defence self.. :-/
have good knowledge on many subjects though..
And I'm sure now storming other forms ;D
