Title: car insurance

my current policy expires on the 7th march. e sure have offered me a new policy for exactly the same as i paid last year. have made no claims or circumstances have not changed in the past year, have not even given me any no claims discount.

Ring them and they will blame inflation or some other economic reason.

It pays to shop around. I have my mig insured with Adrian Flux as a second car on a limited miles policy for £250 fully comp :y

ive wrote to them, you cannot ring them, they dont take calls. but im gonna shop around now. i only did about 3000 last year

Go to all the comparison websites for a quote then checkout moeysavingexpert.co.uk for there cashback deals on car insurance through beatthatquote.co.uk.I live in one of the less desireasble areas of the country with on road parking only and after doing the above my total for this year is just over £177 after the cashback deal and that is fully comp.I hope that helps. :y

I have found Sift to be good recently and offer 28 quid back through casbackkings

you are lucky it hasn't gone up - due to lots of crashes in the winter most insurance premiums have risen, though there is still a lot of competition out there - every time i look for quotes online i am bombarded with phone calls   :-?

Read an artical last week stating than insurance was due to rise by an average of 20% this year due mainly to the "whiplash claim culture" >:( and the rising cost of accident damage repairs

Just had a quick look at that artical it states that there a high numbers of young uninsured drivers they probably do the maths insurance cost circa £1200 fine if you get caught £200 nett saving per annum  £1000 seeemples.

I used swift last year and wasn't impressed, their online stuff is good but if you need to speak to them on the phone then good luck!!

e sure just wrote back. they will not make a better offer and they do not do price matches. there loss im afraid. had a better one with cashback 75 quid less. best i can get.
