The Page in nonpage area fault indicates some sort of memory issue (it could be physical or virtual memory).

May be caused by faulty RAM.  First remove memory sticks (care in handling), clean contacts (use a rubber gently) and reseat.  If not cured could be a faulty stick.  :(

Unlikely to be a serious virus !!!

imho not a virus, either a hardware error (probably ram ) or a faulty device driver..

I get a popup box telling me I need to install and pay for a virus protector or something.
I have no icons on desktop.
And when I try and install any programme the viruses stop them installing.
I am off to Cardiff later, will take PC with me and get it wiped and re-install Windows

Have a look at this. There are various other sites which show you how to deal with these problems.

So far this week you've almost thrown away your omega and your pc. Calm down. :)

Lucky for you Di, as well as being proficient in Omega servicing I have spent the last 10 years working full time in IT, for my sins.

I'll have a look at it for you  ;)

As the Windows kernel is pretty mature, all BSODs are either faulty hardware or poor device drivers.

User mode code (applications etc) cannot cause a BSOD.
