Title: Car Mats
Post by: alunonhisown on 22 February 2010, 17:06:41
Anyone know where I can get some embroidered car mats?
There was some posted on the forum a few weeks ago and I contacted the guy and his machine is bust and unlikely to be repaired.
I was hoping to get some with the word ELITE embroidered on.

Only consumables items are on TC.

They have Omega written in the corner.

The original mat set is called 'classic velour' and has OMEGA embroidered on the front mats, I think they look very good. Part number is 91132419.

;D very true, but the only way you could get 'Elite' written on it would be a bespoke item...not sure on price, and the correct fitment of the mats to the footwell. I always try and get original mats for cars if possibly because I know the mats will fit perfectly.
However, you could buy the proper VX mats and get ELITE added, then it would say OMEGA ELITE. I'm sure the elite can be matched into the omega already on there and made to look original.

Now you are talking that man.
All I need then is a trip to my Vx stealer, and find a competant car mat (BESPOKE) Embroiderer, and find it in MERTHYR. Someone is talking the piss. Mind you there's always the GURNOS ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

For the uninitiated, the Gurnos is a very nice council estate :y

And I thought that the Gurnos was famous UK wide as a safe haven for Junkies, thieves, petrol bombers, and Ken M.

With the greatest respect, may I ask why you want "Elite" embroidered on you car mats?

Who is going to see it?

Talking of the Gurnos and Post Offices, someone recently mentioned that the postmaster there had recently collapsed behind the counter.
Apparently, someone had actually tried to tax their car there ...... gotta be a first!

to nudge this thread slightly back on topic... ::)

good idea - you could establish your own cottage industry in customised mats using an embroidery machine, get some money off the "Dragons" and away yer go ... ;)

i'd buy one!  8-)
