After searching for about 10 months, I finally got a new Job. Its away over in Liverpool area, about 60miles each way, so the LPG will pay back soon. I am not particularly looking forward to the M62 in the mornings, but am looking forward to getting the bank manager off my back !.

Many congratulations and best wishes for the new position, Ken.....You`ll be an honorary scouser in no-time! :y
Some idiomatic phrases to get you started:
Ello-La!, (Good morning)
Ta-ra! (Good bye)
God-luv-ya! (I pity you)
Don`t start, you! (You are causing annoyance)
Calm-down, calm-down! (Might I interject in your disagreement)
I never! (Not I)
He`s a Plastic Scouser (He`s from the Wirral)
R-A (the universal implorative)

Thanks to all for the comments. It has been fairly c**p applying for lots of jobs, getting no reply, and watching the savings drop. :'( :'( :'(
However that's all over, am all ready, tools all packed, taking spare soldering iron, hot air gun, scope, 2 DVM's, solder etc.
Its Murphy's law, if I take all that I won't need it ;D ;D ;D

Go prepared, Steve: you`ll need 12 bricks (3 for each wheel)....so, it`ll be nearly as hard a day`s work as Ken will have! ;D

He'll have a job, its got locking wheel nuts on and I have a hard time getting them off, and I have the key. ;D
Its a place called Knowsley, so not in Liverpool, but close. Depending on the morning traffic, I might be better staying in a B&B and going home at weekends, know anywhere reasonable ?.

Jon (omegod) lives in Knowsley, and if he's anything to go by, I'd resign before you start. ;D

You cheeky barstard!
Good news on the job Ken and good luck.
We don't have many B+B's round here but I will have an ask around. There are a few LPG stations on the East Lancs which are about 53 p a litre as I am guessing you will be getting through quite a bit of the stuff.

Well done Ken and hope today goes well :y
