Aah, thank you T :y
Although I'm not in the least interested in any form of sporting activity, I've found this type of racing to be quite thrilling; on the few occasions I've seen it when idly scanning through the channels.

Thrilling indeed Z, puts f1 to shame imo.

Thanks for posting Chris. I didnt know it was that time already. Im a bit out of the loop tbh as Ive completely given up on
MCN BMW/Triumph news.
The powersliding is impressive but sadly nowhere near as impressive as it used to be since they went down the F1 electronics blind alley.Take all the electrickery off and turn the wick down a wee bit and lets have the awe inspring sight of Haga at 135mph with the bike on complete opposite lock like he used to do with the r7. 8-) 8-)
Im a big Haga fan but I do have a soft spot for Johhny Rae, as hes from Larne in Norn Irn and iirc is the nephew of the man who was sponsor of the late and very great Joey Dunlop.Anyone remember the "Rae Racing" logo on his bikes years ago ?
See you got me all excited now, Im jabbering on like a madman. ::) ;D

Brilliant. :y 8-)............anyone remember Gary Mcoy on the 500 yamaha in GP in 2000 ?
never seen anyone slide a bike at that speed and to that degree ever. And the old 500,s were absolute animals in comparison with what they ride these days.
I dont suppose the bloke on the gixer in the white leathers is you Chris ?..........If it is your a wasted talent young man. ;) ;D

That was Marco Melandri winning in the wet! at Phillip Island in 2006.That win stopped any remaining chance of Valentino Rossi winning the title and handed it to Nicky Hayden. It also secured Melandri a ride at Gresini Honda the following year,a team that he is going back to this season. The number 5 yellow and blue Yamaha was Colin Edwards during qualifying in 2008 and I still can't beleive he kept it upright. The orange and black Repsol sponsored 69 bike was Nicky Hayden at his best on the last of the 990 moto gp bikes from his title winning year of 2006.Sorry for being such a bore on bikes but I love them, roll on this weekend - it's been a long off season. :)
