Title: Gordon is a bully?
Post by: Nickbat on 21 February 2010, 18:44:16
Several people in Gordon Brown's office have contacted an anti-bullying charity, its boss has told the BBC.

Christine Pratt said "three or four" calls had been made to the National Bullying Helpline in recent years.

Frankly, I don't believe a word of it.

Earlier Lord Mandelson denied claims Mr Brown had been warned about his temper, saying he "doesn't bully people".

I mean, Lord Mandlebum wouldn't lie....would he??

 ;) ;)

Bullys are insecure people in my experience. And GB very obviously is an extrememly insecure man, so its entirely feasible imo. The worrying thing is that it probably wont matter too much. The useless Tories are becoming more useless by the day and their lead in the polls is disappearing fast.
It barely seemed possible a year ago that Liebore could win the next election but it now looks entirely possible.  :(

he was probably bullied as a kid himself, he looks the sort of bloke you dont want as a mate, as much fun as the pope at a rave.

True. My gaffer has something of a past & can be a handful should he choose. If we slip up we get a proper round of breaks (as it's usually cost him money & headaches). After that he's good as gold, when it's done it's done. He helps alot of us out in alot of ways.

    Firm but fair. :y

Despite being of small stature, and somewhat rotund, I was never bullied at school or in my working life until a few years ago, when I encountered a guy who just set out to make my life a misery.  I survived, but I would have appreciated some counselling at the time.

I can well believe that Gordon is a bully.  He looks the type, and he never admits he is wrong, or says sorry.  And his clothes never fit. :(

I have a theory that all our current politicians were the misfits who were bullied at school and their petty interference in every part of our lives is just their way of making up for it. >:(

I'm far from an expert but did hear a few weeks back on the radio that most (not all) but a high percentage of our mp's went from school to college, onto uni. then worked thier way through the ranks.

Sounds ok but the point is most have never held a REAL  position down in the real world so have no life experience. :o

Then again, I would have PMSL if anyone had suggested he was slipping Edwina Currie a length on a regular basis. :o

Point 1 - Norman Wisdom and Patrick Moore are, respectively, a clown and a "Great British Eccentric"

Point 2 - Gordon now buys Savile Row suits (I read somewhere) and he still looks like "a bundle of rubbish tied up in the middle" as my mum used to say when I was looking untidy as a schoolboy.

In fact, I've just realised that that's what he looks like - an untidy schoolboy - put a cap on him and he'd fit in with the Bash Street Kids almost perfectly.  Are my Photoshop skills up to it? :) :) :)

on a related note it seems that Christine Pratt has hired Max Clifford, presumably to prevent stuff like this appearing in the paper:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/christine-pratt-the-chequered-past-and-tangled-present-of-woman-at-the-centre-of-the-bullying-storm-1907373.html

ooops too late Max - you're gonna earn you're corn making this witch look good m8  ;D

seems she really is an expert on bullying, presumably she'll pay you out of the charitable donations/book deal advance money?  ::)

It all starts off as a joke, but soon turns rather sinister :o

GORDON Brown dismissed claims of bullying last night and threatened to ruin the life of anyone who says different.

The only logical conclusion to this sorry state of affairs:( :(

Following renewed speculation that ONS figures will reveal Britain slipping back into recession, Mr Brown made his way to an airfield early this morning after posting a furious, rambling message on the Downing Street website.

I had dealings with him in the early 70's I worked at Hartwells in Bournemouth when they were a Hillman dealer. He owned an Imp. He was the  most obnoxious rude arrogant self important person I have ever met apart maybe from Max Bygraves who was just as bad, seems a little fame goes to certain people's head.  :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
