Used to share a house with Blue Great Dane called Horace. He was wonderful, but not too bright. He liked to sit on one's lap.
Not always a good idea. :)

My family bred dogs when I was younger. Irish "Red" Setters mainly, but we had many different breeds over the years. A trio of Afghan Hounds spring to mind in particular.
Stunning looking dogs, but a nightmare when they'd decide to go play in the river. :o

My 60Kg Bullmastiff is not in the same league as that Dane but if she wants to give me a sloppy kiss when I get home there's no way I can stop her. ;D Large breed dogs are the tops!
