i will get a new crank sensor and a thermostate asap

No problem, your more than welcome.

The multirams should be working now which will help the low down torque.

As for the stat, I use these:

But i notice somebody else is also selling some of teh Wahler stats (original fit):

Then its worth buying the stat to top hose pipe from Vx as this has the 2 O rings fitted and is a safer bet.... :y

Its the later oval one.

Vx part number 90492061 at £46.32 + Vat on trade club
