Anyone got any ideas how to rid of the "sticky stuff" left behind when a sticker is removed that won't damage the rear window heater?
-
Maplin do an aerosol of stuff called "sticky label remover". Haven't tried it on a rear window (I should, cos mine has a sticky bit) but I bet it would work. It just dissolves the glue.
Cheers,
Kevin

I have something similar, I'm just worried about the heater element....

WD40 removes most adhesive residues but rear windows are a problem cos the adhesive gets baked in the sun. Dont rub too hard and only wipe along ther heater traces, not across them.

I would use Meths. I have done this before and it worked a treat. Did not damage the heater element at all. However, you will need to drive around for a while with the back windows open to get rid of the smell!

Yep meths is good but rub across rather than up and down

IPA (not the type that comes in a pint), or as already mentioned meths always works.
