Title: Brilliant!
Post by: Auto Addict on 03 March 2010, 10:28:34
Mrs AA won the Lord Mayors raffle.

A Bull Ring Centre gift card with £100 on it.

Spent it in O2 on a new mobile.

Thought she'd get a card for her niece's birthday as the niece is always in the Bull Ring Centre.

Read the exclusions on the purchase, it say's cannot be used in mobile phone shops.

The guy did query it in O2, but thought it must be OK.

Thats the way to do it,  :y

I remember a few years back when Vodafone first launched the 3g DataCards, I walked into a Vodashop to add one to my small business account. Think the deal was 75 notes for the Card but free when you sign a 12 month contract and the first 3 months airtime free, so walked out of the shop with Card in hand without paying anything upfront, only to called on my mobile a few hours later and told that VF had rejected my new contract due to consistant previous late payments, the Girl was very apologetic and said she would sort out the contract thing with VF.

On my next bill I got a Credit for the Card £75 and credit for the first 3 months Airtime, all in come to nearly 200 quid!, but theY never asked for the Card back?, (ebay, another £50).  :D :y
