Woolacombe to M5 with the 2.0 and the caravan.

Traffic lights in Barnstable - I won the TLGP.

The hills towards the M5, little shitbox tries for an overtake, runs out of puff before getting level with the car.

If this can happen with a 2.0 imagine the fun with a V6 - a Renault Scenic diseasle found out with the 3.0 I used to have.

Not all of us can afford £1000 for a weeks cottage rental in the areas we like to holiday in.

if yer could would yer want to..i love foreign holidays but pine to come home towards the end and never have while ive been off in mi van in good ole blighty

its yer very own palace which yer can place anyway yer like and all those plaintiffs even though you have a right to yer own oppinion and i can see where you have a right to complain with some of the numptys who tow i complain at them myself as i pass em but untill you try it break OFF its such a boring long drawn out gag now..yes the ole days when stanley grigglethwipe was on the A1 in his vauxhall victor pulling his 6 berth vanmaster windrush but nowadays its a younger generation in rangerovers and cayannes or audi diesels and if you do go out there and do the speed limit i think youll find a caravan will shortly after pass you

Hi everyone again, while we are on this vanners subject, has any of you had the misfortune of changeing your caravan wheel, with the spare that is keep on the underslung alko wheel carrier.
Even under the best of circumstancesit is difficult to remove, let alone at the the side of a busy road/motorway.
Or am I going about the wrong way,any advice welcome.
Alfie.

the proper alko carriers are a bullet proof but awkward..unhitch the van and lower the front end and then slide the carrier out to gain access to the big wing nut and 19mm bolt and then you have to slide back under van to remove spare tyre theyre a pain in the arse and i would not want to have to do it abroad

Hello Hercules,Yes its the pukka ALKO one, with all the stuff that I carry in the front locker there is no room for the spare wheel in there.
The last time that I had a puncture I called out green flag.

they also did a basket type carrier which was simple and quick but a few cases of fatigue and now they abolish them and only use and recommend the one you have..but bpw still use the basket and to me it is so much better
