Anybody have one of these?
Presumably they are specially designed to be weatherproof.
Do you just connect them up via a long USB cable?
I am looking for one that would accomodate a wide angle and up to five miles or so not to keep an eye out for miscreants!
Any recommendations plus shop/ebay please?

I am also interested in such an item as I wish to attach one to the front bogie of the c47 and create a time lapse film of the trip from Ruddington to Loughborough.

I am also looking into wanting an outdoor camera, I have a Logitech dome web cam atthemoment for indoors, have found it to be reasonably OK for pointing through the window to keep an eye on the car at night as there is a bit of light from the street lights that helps illumination. it also has the PTZ funtions, sadly they are a bit slow and has a poor zoom for what I want the outdoorfor.
Options at the moment seem to be the IP/wireless out door camera's found on the bay. The are some static ones as well, but I personally need the full PZT and good zoom to catch video of all the wildlife in my garden
