When you say link do you mean the 2nd remote control.  if thats the case the magic eye needs to be on the 2nd output on the back of the sky box.

Hi,yes all that was all up and running and perfect.until I unplugged the set.
When I retuned upon retune home,no light shows on the link/magic eye,so no remote function on the handset.

Somewhere in the settings menu is the option to turn the power on or off the the 2nd connection/link eye.

you need secret engineers menu to check rf outlet power supply is set to on. Should not have changed to off though.

Press services, select settings, press 01 select, or on mine scroll to health first or it wont work. Then scroll to rf outlets, select rf outlet power supply and press right arrow to turn on, then green button to save setting. Sky button to exit.

If this setting is off you still get picture on rf outlet 2 but digi eye no work.

If you have a distribution box on rf out 2 it will need to loop that out to work, but i guess thats not been touched if you have one.

Also worth a google, or a call to sky.

You'll need to do this from the main tv now obviously, on rf  out 1...

...and as i've now turned mine off to check, i've now got to get out of bed and go down stairs to to turn the bugger back on again. :D :D ;D ;D ::)
