Title: The Citadel
Post by: alunonhisown on 24 March 2010, 14:23:54
Who remembers this.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0162070/fullcredits#cast

Made in Merthyr and Tredegar in 1984 I believe, I remember watching it when it was 1st broadcast by the BBC.
Stars Ben Cross & Claire Higgins, with a host of Welsh character actors, Tenniel Evans, Talfryn Thomas and most of all Gareth Thomas, even the late Great Buster Merryfield was in 2 episodes.
I have just sat and watched 4 episodes, and it was brilliant other 6 episodes will be here tomorrow. I only been waiting about 5 years to get them, was never released on DVD only VHS I believe. Fantastic Programme.

I think you are refferring to John Rhys Davies, but he was not in The Citadel. His name always reminds me of that Logistics firm in Taffs Well.
