Title: Getting thoroughly ticked off now
Post by: Xplicit 2.0 on 25 March 2010, 12:10:51
"*Trumnpets* This is the captain of the ship!..."

"Hello, why not take advantage of government backed schemes..."

Just 2 of the 10+ pre recorded telephone calls i get at work a day and they are starting to do my head in. i have signed up for TPS and made several complaints and nothing is happening.

any one else having these issues or no how to stop them?

I do too and I am TPS registered.  They all claim that I have requested their services and thus are justified in calling me.  When I ask for their operating address and registered company name they usually hang up.  Not nice for the missus when she is jetlagged and sleeping through the day though.

Place the phone gently down BESIDE the cradle and leave for 10 minutes, after which BT will alert you with a high pitched tone.

While your phone is disconnected they cannot reuse that line .. and they are still paying for the call ......

they soon get the message ....

:)

yeh but you would think they would get the message when the see the phone call lasts about 3 seconds...
i wasnt interested the first time, why keep bothering me with it, if anything they are making it worse as each time they call i am less likely to listen to what they have to offer
