It's mine! Thank God she found it. I'll PM you my address and, as a thank you, I'll send your daughter £20.

I would take it to the Police, TBH. If not claimed they will probably give it back. If it were mine I'd be glad of someone handing it in, as you say. :y

Bear in mind they are easily traced, so don't put it on ebay.

also putting it on ebay with no charger, no box, no nothing is going to scream nicked. Its EMEI number will be barred by the operator anyway, so hand it in  :y

If you have one near you, take it to an apple shop, they'll tell you when, where and by who is was bought by  :y

No.

1) Its going to be blocked by the owner via its EMEI number, rendering it useless, unless you want to do some serious hacking.

2) If your found to be selling 'stolen' goods eBay thats not good, Police will be involved.  ;)

If you want an iPhone, buy one!

Happened to my nephews iPod which he won, it broke they then told his mum everything about it, where it was purchased, by who and when  :-/

I would probably flog it to be honest mate, not via ebay though, via a free listing site.

And apart from,its illegal to change its IMEI number, I dont think thats possible on Iphones  ;)

Just do the right thing and hand it in to the local police if you cannot track the owner through their list of contact numbers :y :y

Anything else is not only illegal, but just imagine how some body (possibly a teenager) is feeling now after losing it.  How would you feel?  How would you also feel about some scumbag holding on to your daughters / sons lost phone?

You know what's right! ::) ::) :D :D ;)

i found a blackberry in tesco's i come straight out and tried ringing all the blokes contacts trying to find out who he was and before i could get him he barred the phone. I got back to work and phone another number on his phone (My other phone) when i got through to the guy he said its no use to me mate ive just barred it so just keep it but thanks for your phone call. But when i started looking through the phone he had quite a number of pictures of his girlfriend and i must say very good ones. Her phone number email address and everything was on there so i must admit i thought about sharing them with the world but instead i took the phone to the local market and sold it to one of the stools for £50 for spare apparently the screen is worth that they said

If you'd been a member of a nova forum,instead of this law-abiding lot, you'd have had fifteen offers for it by now, and a how-to on unlocking. ;D
