Hey guys, been a while since I posted...all I can say is that the Omega is doing great thanks to the help and advice you guys gave ;D...come to think of it...MOT next month ::)
Now can you resolve a problem for my father inlaw who is not computer literate and wants to smash the hell out of any car that does not have a dizzy that you can just adjust a little bit to resolve all problems ::)
He has a 97 2.0 cavalier and all seems well...runs great and drives smooth...only problem is that once you turn the ignition off it runs on....although it coughs and splutters the only way to stop the engine is to stall it :'(
Any suggestions as to where to start looking are welcomed !

ignition being caused by carbon build up in the compression chamber? if its a diesel it may be a faulty fuel shut off valve/switch.
-
Its going to be injection at that age so must be electrical......ignition switch ok.....fuel injection relays all good?
-
Yeah it is an injection....
Was kind of thinking possible relay issue as one gets hot apparently :o
Will pass on your thoughts...thx :y
