TNews International, which owns the Times and the Sunday Times, will start charging to access its web sites from June, it said today.
The Times will cost £1 per day, or £2 for a week's subscription, News International said.

They have summat to do with The Sun newspaper and BSkyB, don't they?
Money-grabbin' shysters!
-
Stopped buying newspapers years ago, certainly wont help them make money from thier webshites.
-
Could this be the start of lots of sites charging for access? Not just newspapers.
It has amazed me that so much out there is free!
-
i can't see more than a few thousand people actually paying to read the times online, but it is a headache for papers as it obviously costs money to staff the online content added to people not bothering to buy a copy as they can read it free.
personally i prefer holding something in my hand rather than looking at it on the web....that didn't come out right ;D
