well today is the big 50 and i thought i would share it with you.as some of you know things are tight here as im unemployed and we live on the mrs money and with 2 kids we have to be very carefull as theres not much left for treats etc,so as a treat my mrs said we would go to my favorite greek restraunt on saturday and get someone to look after the kids so we could have some time for ourselves[as its very rare that the 2 of us spend time alone together]
so im very happy about this but as todays got closer i sensed that something else was planned...........
well its 630 i wake up to the smell of bacon a cooked breakfast!![this is a big treat initself as i dont uselly eat till dinner]the kids singing happy birthday,a few cards with a big 50 badge [that ive got to wear]and a few prezzies including socks[i like socks as i have big feet and socks always run away in this house]
so im a happy bunny[apart from the badge as i feel 35],the mrs has run me a bath so im lazying in there thinking life isnt bad and thinking how lucky iam when she comes in with some wrapped envolopes with times on them when to open them.
the first one has a tram ticket in it and says be in town for 11 oclock
the seconed one says not to open until 11 oclock
so the adventure starts.....il be back [i hope]

I was on stage at a Festival on my 60th last year with 1000+ people all singing happy birthday in different keys!
Sounded terrible but we finished the bottle of single malt that the rest of the band gave me after the gig so I slept well :)

hi thanks for all the good wishes
well envolpe number 2 opened at 11 oclock told me to go to jacks for 1130.now jacks is one of those posh hair places with lots of chrome/tv screens and music not the sort of place id go[ i think £7 for a haircut is a lot of money] so in i go told to have a seat and offered a drink so one cup of tea later im in the chair for a wet shave with a cut throat razor!!
if you have never had one of these i can highley recommend it hot towels then cold towels and smooth as a babys bottom and not a nick anywhere!

well after being told to calm down she pointed to the big wheel.now for those that dont know its a 60 meter high wheel thats been here for about a month now,as it was a clear day the veiw was fantastic!

well after comeing back to earth and opening number 4 it said "high tea" after comeing off the big wheel i wasnt sure what to expect.so i did as i was told and just followed her and we ended up having high tea in a posh cafe with cakes,sandwiches and scones. so a great end to a fantastic day.
i was a bit concerned at how much money she has spent but i knew if i mentioned it i would be in he doghouse,so by the end of the month we be on the baked bean diet
now as we share the computer and i know she checks what ive done i hope she reads this so she knows how much i appreciate all the hard work ,thought,and sackrifices thats gone into today.thanks darling love you loads
