Title: Wrong Forum, but....
Post by: alunonhisown on 29 March 2010, 18:39:08
Help Needed.
My friend has a Ford Scorpio 2.9 24v Cosworth M Reg, and she just came to see me and she was in a different car, asked her where her Scorpio is, and she says....
Tempreture Gauge is going off the scale even with engine cold .
Any ideas folks. :y :y :y :y :y

Reads as though you may well have diagnosed the problem yourself, especially if there is ne actual heat in the engine....

Just need to eliminate and tie it down a bit more.   :y

First thing to do is whip (steady now) the wire off the temp sender
