Title: Dodgy tyre Dealer
Post by: neilr on 30 March 2010, 16:13:28
Hi all my step son ordered 2 tyres from a "dealer of 25 years" on ebay 1 of the 2 federal tyres is faulty the tread has a buckle in it. He has been contacted but say it will take at least 5 weeks to get it replaced as he got to send it back to his wholesaler. Hes wrong he should replace it but wont. Claims he a millionaire and £12 doesnt bother him. But still wont replace it. He claims to know sale of goods act but clearly doesnt as hea says we have no contract. What a moron. So people beware and steer clear of allnewtyres.co.uk in macclesfield.

If 7 days or less have elapsed since you received the tyres, invoke your right to a full refund.

PS

A "full" refund includes any delivery charges, you do NOT have to pay to send the item back.

yes, you can report the matter to the 'bay and after a prescribed period of time has elapsed you would be entitled to a claim, esp. if paid by Paypal.

...and don't forget to leave feedback  >:(
