footprints keep appearing on the bumper then all across the car, leaving lots of scratches where grit is stuck in the soles. ive turned the car round so if they decide to do it again for the 4th time they'll have to use the front bumper while its got wd40 on. then as soon as they step on the bonnet they will slip and hopefully go head first through the windscreen.

i know its a lacoste trainer by the pattern on the sole and its a size 9 or 10. the police are not interested even though there are fingerprints on the bumper as i havent touched the boot for over a week.

I'm afraid in Nu Labia's world it will be you getting done for intentionally creating a slip hazard if the oik should hurt himself.

I have no idea why but WD-40 is banned in the auto companies i have worked in but they do allow AC-90 which smells and functions just like WD-40 :-/

I remember seeing an 'out-takes' Tv. programme several years ago, in which a semi-naked model had been oiled-up (or is it down) for a new car`s photography shoot: her attempts to climb onto and then stay on the bonnet of the car were quite amusing (c/w squeaky sound effects).....the lube was "baby oil", if I remember correctly. ;D

Poo departing a shovel; would`ve seemed sluggish in comparison! :D

There we are, then. Get Loo-Knee over, lube him up and get him to do a turn on the bonnet, take some (more) compromising photos for us to laugh at, and it's no longer an intentional hazard. Everyone's a winner. :y

Would a Silicone based polish do the trick??

Or even try mounting a cheap webcam on the dashtop facing forward. Doesnt have to be working.

WD-40 contains toluene(one of the T's in TNT) hence banned in most companies. Especially FMCG. :y

SPLOTT ?  Are you from Kairdiff then??

If WD40 contains Toluene then you definitely don't want it on your paintwork--apart from which, its very carcinogenic!!

Splott is an area in Cardiff.

Toluene is a very effective solvent-that doesnt do plastic products much good,it is also cancerous.  It was banned from my previous place of work over 20 years ago.

Might I suggest a sign in the window about 8"x4" saying SMILE, YOU ARE BEING FILMED!....  might stop him doing anything once he has got close enough to read it, cos he will think his face has been filmed???

only a thought
