Even just 20 mins on a bike and my shoulders and body starts to hurt  :(

I also like to see the scenery i am passing, which is a real problem on sports bikes  :(

If you want to demo a bike, then try the Busa from SuperKaos.
It runs 18lb boost on standard unleaded, and watch the tacho with respect to when the speedo needle finally hits the stop at 220mph  :)

Everytime i see one of those, it always has a fat bloke riding it  ;D

Still yet to find another bike as comfy as the BMW, every other bike i feel like i am just sitting 'on' it, perched on top. Yam FJR1300 prime example, loved the looks of it it, but felt just perched on top.

You sit 'in' the BMW, it beats 95% of cars off line, so keeps me happy  :)

I'd love a go on that.
10 minutes to get used to it, then I'd wind the throttle to the FWO position and slam the gate to 18lb and find out if my balls are still as big as I think they are, or whether old age and common sense has finally caught up with me.

Starts to move at 7 seconds on the the clock, 60 at 14 seconds onto 100mph at 17 seconds.

5 seconds for a 499bhp (they reckon) bike to get to sixty and 10 seconds to 100mph.  not that quick compared to some cars.

I think you have forgotten the key factor Skruntie, power to weight ratio.
The bike weighs 200KG, the average car weighs 1500KG....I'm sure you can work out the final "BHP per tonne" figure when comparing the bikes performance to that of the car ;)

i agree and see your point.

But as the bike is no way standard then it cant be compared to a average car,  also if it as the sort of power that it just keeps the wheel in the air for 90mph in the mid speed range, then with a bit of re gearing or nos staging before full power then maybe a hell of a lot quicker bike than we saw.

500bhp bike v 800 bhp F1 car i know where I would rather be sat.   ::)

I don't know if that one is making 500 horses or not, the one that does make 500 at the rear wheel (499 for the pedants) is the Busa that was built by MC Express that Ghostrider tested.
