I'm a spurs fan, so completely unbiased in all matters a##*%al, but to be fair to the chap, he did stay on the pitch to see the game out, rather foolishly I might add, as he could not be subbed.
While he was of no use, he was still trying, which I think is a testament to his commitment to his club, especially with the world cup round the corner and the potential worsening of the injury.

This is absolutely true:
20 years ago whilst playing golf at Dukinfield Golf Club I hit a tee shot out of bounds and hit a Skoda on a house driveway. I took the penalty and hit another tee shot and hit it again!!(when you're in the groove!!)
We went to apologise and check the bill for damage etc (there was some) and the owner lady just said "oh it doesn't matter luv".
That would not happen today - they would be onto my insurance pdq. No they don't make em like that...

If the footballers of today had to play with the old case balls (not the bags of air they use today ) it would take there head off if they tried to nut it.

Can you imagine the pooftas that play today playing against the likes of Ron Harris, Norman Hunter and Johnny Giles ;D
