It will enable them to build a profile of their customers.  It only takes a simple analysis of the sales pattern to work out when the dimwits are in the store and they can make a killing whilst publicising competitive pricing.

My wife and I have sometimes bought trays of Nescafe in glass bottles (about 150ml) because they are priced less than the 1.5Kg tins pro rata.  And that's in Costco!

Quite a few, some people are very savvy with their money but some just pick up what they always get without checking first. You'd be very surprised

STMO, How would I know if he can take a bribe? What has this thread got to do with me, and why bring me into it?

I like my local Waitrose, i know where everything is, a little dearer than most but i really don't want a bargain bale of 25 toilet rolls or ten chickens for a tenner, they have nice food, supply all my little treats, if my feet get tired i can sit  and have a coffee and a nice fresh custard slice, the staff don't treat you like cattle, i can park without worrying about getting my doors bashed in and i don't have to wait 2 hours to check out - what more could one want?  8-)

Coop yesterday, 2 bottles of bells for £20.00 or £11.00 for 1 bottle. The 2 bottle rate works out cheaper than Tesco 1.5L own brand......... :y :y :y :y

I have just opened one of them, cheers...... ;D ;D ;D
