exiting m4, head south on a33 dual carriage way, road works all over the place, take new slip road at next roundabout to exit to my prefered lpg station ....
....only to be met head on by....
a pair of head lights, some idiot trying to drive the wrong way up the dual carriageway to the m4 motorway junction 11... but thats not all.
HE WAS ON THE BLOODY PHONE.
....which was removed from his posession and delivered to the nearest police station the next day along with his reg.
Police said would have been reasonable to call 999, but needed to get him moved, sent him to Basingstoke instead of Reading, he's probably still there now.
P plate on the bonnet, an asian fellow, said "very sorry sir" profusely. Suspect the only English he knows.

Not sticking up for him, but that junction is a bit chaotic currently. Though personally, I would have found another place for his phone ::)
In my younger days, I'd just joined the A41(M) (Tring bypass), trying to see what I could get out of a works van ::), got in a bit of a race with another driver trying to overtake ::), we came round a sweeping bend to be met by an old duffer going the wrong way up the carriageway :o. I had part of the hard shoulder, the guy I was racing must have wheels on the central reservation verge, and I remember the look of terror on the old duffers face ;D

.... yes, the road works are a mare but from his direction, if he was in his own country, he did the right thing, phone fuddled him.... >:(
