Wow. MASSIVE response. Thanks to you all for your comments. Firstly most of the work & talent was down to my mate/lodger Steve, he's a proper little grafter. I was more of hold this, twist that, tea maker, chef (least i could do was keep him fed & watered) & there's a full roast pork supper tonight.(Yummy :P) I could'nt achieve that standard on my own. As always a few snag list jobs to finish regarding brakes & timing, alternator & polarity change, new wheel & brake master cylinders bought today from Newark Autojumble (my Mecca!!!).
In answer to a few questions, the paint is the original colour & was done in two pack. The car is now worth upwards of 3 grand. I'm not selling but i'm fickle of nature, if something else catches my eye.....
I can resist anything but temptation!!!

Bloody lovely job Guy, a credit to you both. :y :y

What year is the Consul Guy?
She's January 1961 so just had her 49th birthday. My avatar is wrong as she's a deluxe not a 375 so drum brakes all round! :y
-
:) She`s lovely; and I`d like a ride in her, please. ;)

So when do i get the keys for my test drive Guy ? :y
