Title: Marriage (Thanks to STMO123)
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 08 April 2010, 13:20:34
I joined this forum quite a while ago now, had been dating (on and off) the same girl for 16 years, She lived with me, I lived with her but in the end it ended us living apart as I moved a few miles away but carried on the relationship we had.

Anyway I start to read threads from STOM and Optimal about being married, married, married  :-/ more than once.

So in a nut shell, I am now young, free and single and intend it to stay that way, my excuse, I have'nt found the right one yet.

Someone that brings me breakfast in bed, let's lie in when I choose, do my washing, cook my meals, make the beds and do the shopping.  These are just the dailythings I did not mind doing whilst for my last girlfriend, how ever if I find a girlfiend that doesnt mind sharing these daily jobs with me then I think we may both be on to a winner.   :y

Trust, I'm not.

But am enjoying doing what I want when I want, no nagging and can even look and talk to other females with out getting the silent treatment for days on end. :y

if you ask my thoughts Mr Skruntie, there are better and worse for the right one.. and as of nature there is no shorter way of testing procedure :-/ ( very sensitive subject)

trial error procedure may work simply but really expensive and time consuming..(been there done that)

but without living long period with someone  its nearly
impossible to see the real character .. and sometimes when the hard situations arises its the time you can only see the other side who is..

good luck..

I have been married twice, had more relationships than i can remember but feel privileged to have met some of the worst women in England  ::) - like good reliable cars there some lovely ones out there but they have already been snapped up  :-[

Being single means there are no worries about a wife meeting up with someone else and leaving you homeless and broke, and using the kids as bargaining chips (sorry for being cynical), but now life is happy and relatively stress free, i can do what i want, go where i want, spend what i want and never get involved in silly rows and moods  8-)

I expect to spend the rest of my life contented with my work,  hobbies and interests....until some beautiful temptress comes along to ruin it all  ;)

Sadly I dont have that option.

But in all honesty I did move home for 2 or 3 months after selling a business I had, little brother was still at home I moved out as mentioned then I think my brother bought a house a year or 2 later and I think my Mother nearly threw a party with the tittle of

"They've all grown up and Become independent last"
 "DONT COME BACK"

as daft as it is she probably saw more of the 3 of us after that.  Bless her.
