Title: eTyres.co.uk
Post by: tunnie on 11 April 2007, 12:08:49
Anyone used them?

Need decent rubber on the front wheels for the Senny, going on a mini road-trip to Scotland so its going to need them!

According to their website I can get DUNLOP - SP300 fully fitted for £57.90 each..including VAT.

Seams like a good price and good rubber, their website says they use mobile fitters and come to you, any good or shall i just go down my local ATS as usual. (not been for a quote yet)

You could also try http://www.blackcircles.com/ some people here at work have used them with great success.  Not sure how they would compare on price, but worth a shot.

I generally go to ATS (the one in Hillingdon) - if you are in the AA, show your card and you get something like 10% off.

etyres and black circles both normally very competitive, and with a good selection.  I did find another place, but can't remember url now.

etyres come to you, black circles send to a local tyre fitter.  Try the local ATS, ask if they will price match - speak to Paul.  Worse he can say is no.

I paid £600 for 4 Contis fitted in the local National Tyres & Exhaust 3 years ago... and that was with a '10% discount' :'(

Didn't know about Internet tyres back then...  :(

I have used etyres - but the fitter wanted to do them in the tyre place - he also offered a cheaper deal for the next two!

If you fancy a 5 min detour from the M6 J44 you could try my local dealer, Gates Tyres 01228 819191.

They've beaten all the internet companies I've tried.  Goodyear Eagle F1 16"'s £80 - £85 IIRC and I know how you like them.  :y

Markie, have you ever tried using Auchinlea Tyres? They used to be over my way, but they recently moved to Newhouse Industrial Estate. Never had to buy barge tyres, but they have good prices none the less.

Thats nice and cheap, close too.

The regal budgets on the back are V rating so i would have thought they should be good.

I might pay them a call m8  :y Cheers
