All these expenses scandals. Just old MPs with no morals. Things will be different when today's youth take over in Parliament.
Or maybe not...
Teenagers serving on a Youth Parliament have blown thousands of pounds of taxpayers' money on parties, pizzas and chauffeur-driven cars for themselves.

Ah, but that's just the horrid English youth, innit?
No.
The former chairman of the Scottish Youth Parliament has branded the organisation a “talking and knocking shop” for youngsters obsessed with boozing, sex and drugs.

And we have the cheek to complain about the youth of today? Bah! ;) ;D

I read the Sun article and am afraid I look straight to the adults for being so stupid.
Giving a grant to adults and not checking that it gets used properly is a pretty fundamental error in this day and age let alone youngsters.
Maybe the current (PC) view that children are equivalent to adults in all things has some bearing but I point the finger firmly at the adults and suggest that dealing with climate change may not be the only thing that the human race is too stupid to manage! :'(
