No.... :(
Just some intake gaskets... the type of thing you don't normally replace anyway unless there actually damaged.

No i didnt buy it MJ.....my final offer was £350...
It was for a 1999 Omega 3L Elite Estate 135k miles.....leather/sat nav (no not colour Mark ;) )
I think £350 was fair for what i believe it had wrong........ a knackered oil cooler (owner thought it was head gasket gone)
Mind you it could have had a host of other things wrong as it didnt have an MOT either!
Plus i have to factor into the equation, it woud have cost me another £120 to have it recovered to Swindon.
Oh well i'll keep searching.......

Why do you reckon then AA?
Bearing in mind it must be 3.0L, must have leather and must be an Elite.....Saloon or Estate....not too fussed but Estate preferably.....

Weddings?

'Man Father' always talks about a visit from a local undertakers who bought a Carlton Estate many moons ago.....they brought a large 'box' to check out the load space and passed comments like 'you could get two in there'....bought one with tinted windows to use for body snatching/collecting......
So my guess is that Taxi Driver is doing some work on the side for the Coop.....

A work colleague of my Dad's called one afternoon in the companies black Carlton estate ;) I showed him the schrader in the back for the pneumatic dampers - the man in the back didn't seem to mind :o

Nope.....specfication would have included black in colour or possibly silver (A local comp uses silver funeral cars!)
-
The clue is really....must have leather and be a 3.0L..........

Either a project or a personal car :y

Either a project or a personal car :y
Correct :y
Thought it was time....to have a go at more challenging fixes....obviously i dont want to go breaking things on my 'work' omega......but dont care if i fubar a cheap car up.....reason for leather and 3.0L is if i did buy a piece of cack or broke it totally....then at least i could get some money back selling some parts.
Also i have managed to get a spare corner of my local garage if i did buy anything that didnt have an mot or tax on it :)
