Update your Profile. Drives: Omega is a bit vague.

As for 94,000...if it's a 2.5td, it'll be just about 'run-in' now.  :y

My thoughts are if its basically a sound car, put money into it if you see yourself in it for time enough to warrant the expenditure.

Omegas are very cheap to buy though for what they are so no point putting good money after bad.......

Not a huge amount you can (cheaply enough to make it worthwhile) do with 2.0l, other than a blooming good service

If it's performance you're after, you really shouldn't have gone for the 2.0. There are plenty of 2.5/2.6/3.0's to be had for very little money.

Aye, I'm trying to work out what kind of chap wants to upgrade the motor here. I could say:-

Irmscher kit
Decat
KYB
Pi Springs (dropped to the floor and rock hard).
EBC Yellows (no need for reds unless track driving)

If the 2.0 auto is'nt enough for you..(it would'nt be for me either) then weigh up what it would cost to get it saleable against what you hope it would fetch then use the figure that it really would fetch, scrap it & get a V6 manual
