Spotted this at a dealer near to me

Both were great cars......the Monza was a super cruiser and the Manta was what the Capri should have been

Owned a Manta GTE from new in the eighties while in Germany, did lots of cruising the autobhans without a hitch, a dream to drive.
Then bought a cavalier GSI in 89 new, what a beast, 140mph for hours on end, A to B in no time and all legal. 500mile round trip 4hrs driving what a joy.

It's got to be the coupe for me, single slot grille & chrome bumpers too!  :y :y :y
I had a drive of my brother's mate's GTE when I had my  B series SR. It didn't go any better than mine!  :-? ;) ;)

I had a Cavalier Coupe this colour ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Opel-Manta-SR-Berlinetta-1976_W0QQitemZ190388363526QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item2c5407e106 and then replaced the car (I crashed it  :-[) and bought a Manta SR Coupe like this one  ;) (it wasn't quite as 'rough' at the time though)
