I see the oof  has made it in to the hallowed pages of the above magazine. Page 34 Used car focus

didn't know CM was still being published - spent many happy hours poring over those pages full of photostories of sparkling new bolts, subframes and engine parts - everything was so simple then  ;)

I have a box of 'Car Mechanics' somewhere from the 1960's and '70s.  Wonder if they're worth anything?? ::) ::) ::)

they should have some good articles -

"changing the brushes on your Dynamo"

"fitting new drum brake shoes and springs"

"repairing a split in a remould"

"how to find the engine in a foreign jobbie"

Interesting for sure, but not much help with changing my cam cover gaskets!!   :D

Maybe I'll stick them on Fleabay  :y

No, looking around at the moment, More likely Miss Vamps will give her opinion...... ::)
Considering; Soda Yeti, Pug 3008 crossover, C3 grande picasso, C4 grande picasso or quashki (sp?) or  ::) sort the Galant...... ::) ::)

I probably skimmed a couple of CMs but learnt most of my car knowledge from Hot Car magazine.  Bought the first issue and nearly all 'til the last.  Occasionally bought "Triple C" (or Cars and Car Conversions) for some highbrow info.
