Title: what do we think of this

I cant remember how much they were new ,but I'm sure it would have been cheaper to take cabs where ever you wanted to go.( As near as makes no difference in 03 it was £31.000 according to an old Parkers Ive just found.) 17.000 mls for 31k seems a bit excessive. Nice car though

Don't be suprised if it's spent most of those 17k miles towing a caravan as well.

Stupid place - I hate this fascination with hard right stuff on web sites, we don't all run 40" monitors and very high resolutions.

I run windowed and 1024x768 and most sites are fine, a few insist on being too wide - and I hate it.

Pictures - yes I can go full screen but for text why should I?

::)  I recognised the buildings. The general layout of the advert also reminded me of the previous 'top dollar' estate.
Looked for the sellers name and... :y

Any car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it, regardless of the advice on here..... ::) ::) If however someone was asking advice on how much a car is worth then that would be different.. :y
I believe there is a same spec car, with thirty something K  miles on is going to be available in North Yorks for £1995 and I tried to get that price knocked down... :D :D

Just done a quick sum and one that would work for me trying to decide on a price to pay.

Ignore the mileage for now.

Self emplyed used to work on 25% depreciation to work out a vechicle/machinery valuation (Not sure if cars where the same - but helps for a guidline)

£31,000.00            2003
£23,250.00            2004
£17,437.50            2005
£13,078.13            2006
£9,808.59                    2007
£7,356.45                    2008
£5,517.33                    2009
£4,138.00                    2010

Car is approx 7 years old so 70,000 to 84,000 would be a reasonable mileage.

So as the car has averaged 2428.5 miles a year, just less than quarter of a 10K annual mileage.

At the end of the day it's still only worth what some one is prepared to pay for it.

I would give £4000 for it if the seller wants to do a deal this week.
