Have an Acer Aspire laptop which has started a very annoying 'thing' lately.
Its mouse is a touch pad at the bottom of the keyboard with the 2 clicky buttons under it and a scrolling button in the centre of those buttons (its a 4 way button, L/R/Up/Down)
When I use the scroll button to go down a page sometimes it will stop the second I let go and other times it will scroll down the whole page. Its a silly little problem but at the same time its really flipping annoying.
The button is definitly not sticking so I have no idea what it could be, anyone out there got any idea??
Cheers

Check the setup program for the touchpad .. under mouse in control panel usually. Sometimes they can be set to "autoscroll" after a specific period of "normal" scroll ...
You can see this as, for example.... you scroll 1/4 screen and it stops .. but if you scroll a full screen it continues ???
On others it is to do with pressure .. light pressure it stops .. heavy pressure it auto-scrolls
You may be able to adjust the sensitivity in the setup program
