Just driven to kent from devon never had a more comfortable journey. The mig was faultless even gave me 34.5 mpg which was good even for my heavy foot! although 1 problem i said to the kids who needs a wee before we leave they said they were ok 20 mins up road guess what thats right it was me who needs a wee kids took the "p" out of me! word of advice in car dvd players they keep kids quiet for hours till the batteries die and you remember the in car charger sitting at home on the kitchen table ;D ;D ;D

Irrespective of the vehicle involved, my bladder seems to be programmed to complain as soon as I set off down the road ----- bit of old age creeping in :-/

I know the feeling with the bladder Mate. it is a pita.
but you are right with the in car dvd players. I also have them for the kids, it keeps them quiet for hours. and swmbo has the laptop to watch her films.
the only thing is I cant listen to anything apart from the sweet sound of the mig, as they all complain they cant hear anything. so ive lost anyway.
have to go to germany in a couple of monthe and will be doing about 2500 miles all together.

We took our 2.0 CD auto facelift to Lodz in Poland in 2007, getting on for 2500 miles there and back.....
Car was brilliant....easy to go sleep, 2 of us in the car taking turns to drive whilst the other sleeps.....
Left Nottingham 8.30pm for the 0230 Norfolkline to Dunkerque, arrived Lodz at 1930 the next day
Cudnt have done it in most other cars..........!!

Those DVD players are fantastic for the kids, they've even got their own headphones if you need it, you can drive for miles with not a peep from behind you, bliss...

I get that too even though I tend to go to the toilet before I set off anywhere :(

I subscribe to my Dad's school of thinking when it came to car journeys. Kids shut up (beyond I-spy, car snooker etc - its bickering I'm on about), or get a bloody goo hiding ;). Matters little who started it, takes 2 (or in our case, 5 kids) to tango ;)
