Depends how hard it was driven before '9 miles to go' & how you're going to drive till you next fill up.  ;)

Had 5 mls showing on mine once, it was parked in the drive which has an ever so slight incline. I thought just enough fuel to get me to the petrol station. It wouldn't start :'( :'(
Put a gallon of petrol in and it started straight away.
Just don't trust the 9 miles to go, the gauge is not very accurate in my opinion :y

that calculation is based on last 12 miles average consumption, so if you come straight off a motorway to town driving, not long!

When I was a student a mate of mine did "pot" noodles. And "pot" tea (in a tea pot). Interesting varieties of gravy on his Sunday lunch. Don't ask me what he was growing in the garden. ;D

There was never a safe time to call in and say hello. If you could hear the Pink Floyd from half way up the driveway you knew you'd leave in a right old 2 and 8 if you went any further. :-X
