Title: 12AX7 valve (ECC83)

Anyone nearby got a spare one?
I've had 2 fail in an amplifier & only have 1 spare & it's Bank holiday!!!
I'm near Basingstoke/Reading/Newbury

Ah!  That takes me back - a dual triode on a B9A base IIRC - the twin BC109 of its day.

I have a couple of spares here. Just listening to them - they sound OK. Can't test them any further than that.

Pop over an collect them tomorrow or I can possibly send them in the Reading direction c/o Chrisgixer. :y
