Title: James Bond
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 23 April 2010, 14:23:27
If rumours are true there may well be no more new movies.

Blame is the lack of funding.

Good. I watched quantum of solace on sky the other night. I've never seen a more disjointed film. Just one action scene after another with very little plot in the middle. Give me Bourne any day.

Dr NO!!!!!  :D i hope they make the film - it would scare THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS  :D out of me if they folded....maybe the producers will get lucky on the lottery and win the THUNDERBALL  :D but it would seem all the luck in the WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH  :D so the franchise will DIE. ANOTHER DAY it may come back  :D TOMORROW? NEVER! DIES of lack of funds. Guess the old days were GOLDEN.EYE  :Ddon't think we'll see Bond back..........................OK i'm bored now

I think the new Bond films have lost that old bond film feel.....

Bring back those flares.... lines to make you cringe  ..

Roger Moore ... we miss you

I thought Sean Connery was great, but if I watched one now it just makes me realise how old they are.

I liked Pierce Brosnan and must admit to not being sure about Daniel Craig but grew to like them very quickly.  I think each actor has managed to put his own spin on Bond.

Shame the studios are struggling as Bond must must have the most tittles for a very good reason.

Connery is the ultimate (film) Bond, much closer to the books. Daniel Craig is going back to that era, and away from the softer, kinder Moore/Brosnan.  Additionally, going away from the less plausible gadgets that had reached the stage of the ridiculous.

I like the new Bond films, though Quantum of Solace only makes sense if you watch it straight after Casino Royale - consider it a 2 parter.
