They are real, the picture is probably   a few years old, as the D-Mark is no longer being produced :y

I wish they would everything has become very expensive since the done away with the D-Mark.
as for the photo, it must be fake then after (getting my glasses) reading the date

What would 10,000 DM be worth today based on the exchange rate when Germany went into the Euro?

According to Stephen Fry Germany haven't sung the 'Uber Alles' bit for a long time.

you half the summ to get Euros.
Or to be exact:

1 Euro = 1,95583 DM
